Prerecorded Audio-only
An alternative for time-based media is provided that presents equivalent information for prerecorded audio-only content.
Prerecorded Video-only
Either an alternative for time-based media or an audio track is provided that presents equivalent information for prerecorded video-only content.
Why is it required?
It is difficult for people with disabilities to perceive audio or video-only (prerecorded) media without any text or audio alternatives.
Are there any exceptions?
An audio track provided as an alternative to understand the video does not require a text transcript.
